In a Europe characterised by linguistic interconnections, mobility, and constant cultural transformation, the university remains one of the key settings in which linguistic and cultural diversity takes shape and gains meaning. This volume stems from a shared Eras-mus+ blended learning experience involving students, administra-tive staff, and lecturers from the Aurora 2030 Alliance, and brings together theoretical reflections, teaching practices, and testimoni-als dedicated to the relationship between linguistic diversity, inter-cultural competences, and European identity.
Starting from a conception of language as a resource, the contri-butions gathered here interpret plurilingualism not as a mere co-existence of codes, but as a dynamic, intercultural, educational, and relational practice. The volume addresses several key themes for contemporary higher education: university language policies, mediation, translanguaging pedagogy, inclusive methodologies, intercultural awareness, and the role of education in building a more open, critical, and informed European citizenship. What emerges is a rich and multifaceted picture, in which research and practice are in constant dialogue: from the application of a mul-tilingual perspective to teaching and assessment, to experiences with Learning Boxes, right through to reflections on emotions, inclusion, and intensive programmes (BIPs) understood as micro-cosms of Europe.
